The sport's inheritance BWA will consist of the following historical data:
a. the results of:
♦ the qualifying races (competitions) << long distance 200 km / 24 H >> in France
♦ the mythic race Paris-Colmar, formerly Paris-Strasbourg 520 km
♦ the Centurion 100 mile races in England and in the other continents
♦ the national championships Race walk 100 km & the international 12-hour races
b. the world rankings of the:
♦ 100 km Race walk M/W
♦ Men's 200 km Race walk
♦ Women's 24 hour Race walk
c. newspaper reports
d. testimonials
Treatment of non homologated performances
The history of race walking << long distance >> counts 5 qualifying races for which the results have not been homologated.
It concerns the following non homologated qualifying races:
♦ The 200 km Race walk of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine 1981 (France)
♦ The 24 hour Race walk of Rouen 1986 (France)
♦ The 200 km Race walk of Épinal 1999 (France)
♦ Perpignan – Barcelone 2003
